Calculate the aproximate price for a metered taxi drive in Thailand before hand.
This application uses the latest 2017 taxi meter rules and calculates the fare taking into account the distance and the traffic at the moment.
Conditions as the general distance, the traffic at the moment, the number of steps needed to reach the destination are taken into account to try to get the most accurate result.
For the calculation, the best and fastest route is used, regardless if it uses tollway or not. You can choose if you want to avoid tolls, using the switch in the settings. Please remember the passenger is responsible for the tolls, and that amount is not added to the result.
As the taxi meter in Thailand depends not only on the distance but also on the speed, any unexpected accident or a specially bad traffic can change the time and therefore price of any journey. I tried my best to offer the most reliable result, but it should be seen as an indication and not law.
Once the result is displayed, you can use any instant messaging application to share a link to the route, the estimated time and the estimated fare.
